The word gospel means good news. All of humanity was born into the bad news. The bad news is that all of us our sinners separated from a holy God (Romans 3:23). The good news is that Jesus died for us (Romans 5:28). We must turn from our sins and trust in Jesus for salvation (Romans 10:9).
